90 Day Fiance‘s Angela Deem and Lisa Hamme face disappointment unless something changes fast at US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS). The latest info says that Usman Umar and Michael Ilesanmi may be stuck in Nigeria for a long time unless they find a loophole.
90 Day Fiance: Lisa Hamme Married Usman Umar Last Year – Still Too Late?
On this season of Before the 90 Days, fans just saw Lisa Hamme bully Usman into proposing to her. It was a romantic marriage proposal, done a scant four feet from the toilet. Soon on the 90 Day Fiance prequel show, we’ll see Usman wed Lisa. However, this filmed a while back.
In fact, Lisa married Usman late last Summer – see the info here. Now, the Nigerian resident visa ban likely shuts the door on BGL bringing SojaBoy to the US to live as her husband. There was already a travel ban in place since 2017 before her 90 Day Fiance wedding.
Then, in January 2020, the ban broadened, affecting all visas in process. So, even if Lisa Hamme rushed home from Nigeria and applied for the visa, it would have stalled early this year. And Lisa Hamme’s not the only 90 Day Fiance bride hit hard by the ban.

<h2>Angela Deem’s Wedding to Michael Ilesnami Days Before Nigerian Ban Tightened</h2>
<p>As for Angela Deem, whom fans know from <em>90 Day Fiance</em> and <em>Before the 90 Days, </em>she already had visa issues. You may recall from her last season of the main franchise that Michael’s K-1 was pre-denied. Remember, they got a letter saying it likely would be refused if they continued.</p>
<p>That prompted Angela to hop a plane to marry Michael in Nigeria. That’s despite Angela Deem hoping for her mother to see her marry her <em>90 Day Fiance</em> down in Georgia. Michael married Angela in late January, then the travel ban clamped down, and then her mother passed away.</p>
<p>Typically, it’s easier to get a spousal visa than a K-1 <em>90 Day Fiance</em> visa. That’s what Angela Deem hoped for her and Michael. But with USCIS blocking all permanent immigration visas for Nigerians, Angela likely won’t get her honey to the US anytime soon.</p>
